BIND DNS Server Options
Within the named.conf file, the options statement block enables specification of behavior and parameters of named, the DNS service, from a service level perspective. Some of the parameters and options can be specified at more granular levels, e.g., within the view or zone declaration statement blocks. The BIND Options Reference table lists the valid options statements for the BIND versions listed below. The parameters for the respective BIND version along with the syntax of each statement within the configuration file and its relevance to named.conf, views, or zones of particular types.
